It’s called a vision

Darlene Brooks (06/19/2008)

Have you ever just found yourself wondering what if? Maybe you were watching people shopping in a department store, and noticed that their interest was drawn to one particular item,  or that all attention was on a specific area of the store. What about a unique way that someone baked cookies or made a salad, with one ingredient that made them different than all the rest? You have just discovered the basis for developing a product that can be marketed as your OWN - identifying an interest point, something that stands out from the rest.

Everything we do in life, my friend, starts with a word. Words influence our thinking, thinking influences our emotions, emotions will produce your actions, our actions will create our habits, our habits will produce our character, our character will produce our destiny and our destiny will align you with the will of God. The will of God will enable you to claim victory in your life. We all are blessed with many talents, and when you find which area you shine in more than others, you can focus and develop a vision of where this talent can go immediately, intermediately and with an outlook to longevity.

When you see the vision you should be able to answer what, who, why and when. If you can sell one person to believe or see your vision, you are on your way to developing a business that will take root and eventually have many future believers who will become clients. Everything takes research, test market, planning and faith!

What is faith? It is the confident assurance that something we want is going to happen. It is the certainty that what we hope for is waiting for us, even though we cannot see it up ahead (Hebrews 11:1).

With any business plan you must identify a vision statement and a mission statement. Vision is where you see the actions of your plan going. Mission is the clearly identified scope of what will be accomplished by the implementation of your plan of action. As with anything in life you develop a plan of action and put action to the plan.
